Overview
AIVerify is a Windows desktop app that detects AI-generated, manipulated, or fake images, text, and video. We take your privacy seriously and collect only what we need to run the service.
1. What We Collect
When you create an account and use AIVerify, we collect:
- Your email address (used to identify your account)
- Your account creation date (used to calculate your free trial period)
- Subscription status (active, trial, or inactive)
- Scan history — the verdict, confidence score, and timestamp of each scan. The actual images, text, or video you submitted are not stored.
- Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
We do not collect your name, location, or any information beyond what is listed above.
2. How We Use It
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account
- Determine whether you are within your free trial or have an active subscription
- Process payments and manage your subscription through Stripe
- Send transactional emails — such as password resets and subscription confirmations
- Show you your scan history inside the app
- Investigate abuse or violations of our Terms of Service
We will never send you marketing emails without your explicit consent. We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. Data Storage
Your account data (email, subscription status, scan history) is stored securely in our database hosted by Supabase. It is retained for as long as your account exists.
Content you submit for analysis (images, text, video) is sent to our servers over an encrypted connection, processed immediately, and discarded. Nothing you scan is written to disk or retained after the result is returned.
Scan history entries stored on our servers contain only the verdict, score, and timestamp — not the original content.
4. Third-Party Services
Supabase
We use Supabase for user authentication and database storage. Your email address and account data are stored on Supabase's infrastructure.
Stripe
Payments are processed by Stripe. When you subscribe, Stripe handles all card data directly — we receive only a confirmation of payment and your subscription status. We never see your full card number.
We do not use advertising networks, analytics trackers, or any other third-party services beyond those listed above.
5. Your Rights
You are in control of your data. From within the app you can:
- View your scan history at any time
- Cancel your subscription
- Delete your account, which permanently removes your data from our servers
If you have trouble accessing or deleting your data, contact us at support@useaiverify.app and we will handle it within a reasonable timeframe.
6. Children's Privacy
AIVerify is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will notify you through the app or by email.
Continued use of AIVerify after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
